William Brown Callendar papers, 1787-1874.

Collection comprises estate papers dealing with Massachusetts properties, mainly in Boston, including a copy of the will of William Brown Callendar (1864), deeds, examining records, leases, other legal documents, rough sketches of property and household bills; are mainly related to bequests that William Brown made to his daughter Mary, the wife of William Joseph Callendar and mother of William Brown Callendar, and thence from Brown or Callendar to various children and grandchildren, including members of the Capen, Stearns, and Vinton families. Material primarily concerns Berkshire, Hampshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk Counties, Massachusetts.
